Sales Account Manager - Medical Devices

Manpower is recruiting a Sales Account Manager with our client who are a growing manufacturer of medical devices.

The successful candidate will be selling medical devices to the health sector in Northern Ireland & Scotland, with approximately 70% of your time based in Northern Ireland. This company are on an upward trajectory with their products already established and entering new markets globally.

Suitable candidates will need a strong track record in sales/ business development, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to pro-actively identify and develop new business opportunities.

You will need capital equipment or medical device sales experience, with knowledge of NHS processes highly desirable.

On offer is a great salary package £50-55k plus commission, also company car with fuel card, laptop, phone, 25 days annual leave plus stats

The Role

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase new install base
• Achieve agreed machine sales and consumable sales
• Manage sales pipeline effectively using sales portal
• Develop accurate market info for your region
• Support new installation, handovers and informal user training
• Prepare and present to potential new accounts
• Build relationships with health professionals and decision makers
• Promote non-capital products in the wider portfolio range
• Liaise with Sales Manager regularly, providing updates and and sales reports

What we are looking for

• Track record in Sales/ Business Development
• Sales experience in capital equipment or medical devices
• Knowledge of NHS structures is beneficial
• Excellent interpersonal skills and can build relationships with ease
• Professional sales approach and driven to achieve targets
• Flexible to cover Scotland territory and some travel for sales meetings, trade exhibitions etc.
