HGV Technician - Barnsley

Are you a qualified HGV technician looking for a dayshift role in Barnsley? We are working with our client, a long-standing distribution company with an excellent reputation.

Your role will include diagnosing faults, repairing and maintaining the HGV fleet. You'll be working on a variety of heavy goods vehicles including trailer. Working a day shift, your hours will be a mix of 6am - 2.30pm or 9.30am - 6pm. Some weekend work is required and overtime is available if wanted.

Ideally you will hold an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in HGV maintenance and have previous experience in a similar position. Candidates with an HGV class 1 will be of particular interest but the company will fund the license if not.
